Overseas Students
Overseas students may consult the Indian Embassy / Consulate in their respective countries to obtain a student visa to study at Sha- Shib Flying Academy. A security clearance from the DGCA is required for all foreign nationals to undergo flight training in India. SFA will process the necessary clearance on behalf of the student on receipt of application form and registration fees of US $500 (non refundable ).
The payment should be made in the form of demand draft/banktransfer (in US Dollar) in favour of SFA.
The following particulars are required to be furnished for obtaining the security clearance
1. Name
2. Father's name
3. Date of Birth
4. Nationality
5. Home Address (abroad)
6. Date of arrival in India
7. Present Address (State address in India)
8. Occupation
9. Particulars of any aircrew licence held
10. Object of the visit
11. Whether previously in India if so date and place of previous visit
Five copies of the form containing the above information are to be furnished to the Sha- Shib Flying Academy for being forwaded to Director General of Civil Aviation.
