About The Course
A Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) is a licence offered by DGCA that allows students to act as a Pilot in Command of any aircraft and get paid for that. A CPL holder can perform flying work in single and multi-engine aeroplanes, fly aircraft and even act as a co-pilot in aircraft. Choosing the right institution for pilot training is crucial. Institutions of Sha-Shib Group offer top-notch facilities for an enhanced educational experience. The pilot courses, approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) under Aircraft Act, 1934 and Aircraft Rules, 1937, feature comprehensive curricula aligned with DGCA standards, encompassing both theoretical and practical training sessions.
The CPL course is all about operating the aircraft in the air which includes general flying, aircraft testing, and skill tests as per DGCA requirements. An aspiring candidate can enrol in the course by appearing in various exams or sometimes it can be merit-based for some institutions. After the completion of the CPL course, the candidates have to complete flying training, to further apply for a job in government and private airlines where they are paid to fly as a pilot, transport cargo and passengers, and perform other operations that include aerial surveying and search and rescue.
Sha-Shib Flying Academy, one of the prime flying training organisations in India, which comes under Sha-Shib Group, enables the students to provide comprehensive academic and practical training in India which is harmonised with the International Civil Aviation Organisation.
