The Scope for AMEs?

 We believe that while opting the career, we must be cautious and should choose the sector which gives a good opportunity, scope and reputation. Certainly, Aviation gives you all, if you are laborious and passionate. 

 The aviation industry is boon for any country as it is the fastest means of travel. The overall development of a country is supported by the Aviation Industry via transporting the passengers, transporting the cargo (Materials), Charter Services, Air Ambulance services, Agriculture Services, Drone Services, VIPs Movements, Rescue Operation, Fire Fighting Services, and Helicopter Services etc.

Irrespective of the uses, the Aircraft and its components must be inspected, rectified, overhauled in a DGCA CAR 145 approved organisations i.e Maintenance Repair & Overhaul organisation(MROs) only. Every Airlines/Flying Clubs/Government enterprises/Charter Service providers/Owner of aircraft, must get the maintenance of their aircraft and its components from either own MROs or Contracted MROs which are approved by DGCA under CAR 145, where the licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers are the only person who carry out and certify any kind of maintenance. As the demand for the no. of Aircraft increases, the more manpower in MROs to maintain the aircraft and its components will be required.

 The salient facts of Aviation Industry as per the Government of India: 

? Indian Aviation Industry is the fastest growing industry in the world and is the "Third Largest" Domestic Market in the world.

? India aims to become "Global Hub" for MRO industry. It means that, in India many new MROs will be established and those already established will extend its services. With this, numerous vacancies are expected in coming years for young boys and Girls successfully completing AME course and obtaining the licenses in category B 1 & B 2.

? Indian Government is boosting Regional Connectivity under UDAN (Ude desh ka aam Nagrik) scheme creating ample scope for the development of regional air transport in different states of our country. Thus enhancing the demand of more no of MROs and Licensed AMEs.

? India has 91 international carriers comprising of 5 Indian carriers and 86 foreign carriers, which ensure that India is well connected with most major countries.

? Aim to increase the no. of operational airports to 250. As presently India has a total 464 no of airports and airstrips and majority of which are not operational. Hence as the no of operational airports are increased the demand of manpower will increase. 

? Rise in Air travel of working Group and middle class affecting the demand of new Aircraft and Airports positively.

?  Many foreign Airlines and Major Aviation companies like Etihad Airways, Singapore Airlines, Rolls Royce, South African Airways, Airbus, Boeing and many more are looking to invest in India which will have again a huge no. of opening in the aviation sector.

? Also the major industries in India are investing in Aviation like Tata , Mahindra , Reliance , Adani etc. which also requires huge technical manpower.
